We understand that most people lead busy lives. Often, they are focused on looking after their families and advancing in their careers leaving them no time to properly look after their personal planning. Whether your goal is to retire sooner or to optimize your retirement income or leave a legacy that will be remembered for generations, our unique approach will provide a shorter path to achievement. Live better and be remembered with a little help from smarter planning.
Your Strategic Financial Plan will address your big picture and consider all relevant aspects of your life. Our process takes all of this into account and ensures integration across each area of your plan. To accomplish this, we have created a disciplined approach to ensure that all your bases are covered, and appropriate steps are taken to maximize your wealth, minimize your taxes and secure your financial future without sacrificing your lifestyle today.
Step 1: Discovery – involves a detailed assessment of your current situation and a discussion of your future financial and life goals. This is the foundation to your plan. We will ask many questions to get to the root of what is important to you.
Step 2: Comprehensive Analysis – by asking the right questions we get the right information to prepare a comprehensive analysis of your current situation and identify gaps, challenges or problem areas as well as providing opportunities to significantly improve your current and future financial well-being.
Step 3: Exploration – a summary of where you are currently headed financially given your past planning and current situation is reviewed. Then several potential options for significantly enhancing your current situation will be discussed along with a step by step summary of what actions are required in each scenario. The focus of this part of our meeting is education. We take care to speak to our clients with language that avoids jargon and industry acronyms so that our communication is clear, and our clients feel in control as they weigh the options.
Step 4: Design – after discussion and consideration has been given to the strategic options presented we reconvene to identify and select the most appropriate strategies for implementation. The plan design is then solidified and a step by step implementation strategy is provided.
Step 5: Implementation – at this stage we facilitate the actions necessary to set the selected strategies in motion. In the case where the strategy requires the assistance of other professionals such as lawyers to draft a will or trust documents, we have strategic partners available to help.
Step 6: Monitor - this is the most important step. Strategic Financial Planning requires ongoing review to keep things on track. If we find that something has changed and we are off track for whatever reason, a course correction can be made to ensure you remain on track to achieve your financial and life goals.
